PPC established a hatchery in Kufor-Sour Tulkarem using most updated international standards, in order to produce day-old chick, where the first ever Palestinian day-old chick was produced (AzizA).

PPC hatchery completed building and operated in February 2000 with a capacity of 8 million eggs per year, yielding 6 million one-day-old chicks per year, this constitutes about 17% of the Palestine need, and the hatchery capacity has been duplicated in February 2002.
